Configuring ObserveOps to Microsoft Teams Integration
Overview
The Microsoft Teams integration allows seamless communication between Motadata ObserveOps and your IT teams. By delivering critical alerts directly within the familiar Microsoft Teams environment, it facilitates rapid response times to incidents. This integration enhances communication efficiency, minimizing potential downtime and its associated costs.
Navigation
Go to Menu. Select Settings . After that, Go to Integration
and select Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Teams integration screen is displayed.
Integration Steps
| Fields | Description |

| Credential Profile | Select a credential profile using the dropdown. |
| Time Out | Specify the time (in seconds) for ObserveOps to establish the server connection with Microsoft Teams server. Exceeding which ObserveOps will assume Microsoft Teams in the down state. |
| Auto Sync | When turned on, Motadata ObserveOps will periodically sync Microsoft Teams metadata with the Integration profile to ensure information available in Motadata ObserveOps is always available. |
You must provide the Scope while creating the credential profile for Teams. Following are the scopes to be configured. i.e., openid, profile, offline_access, Channel.ReadBasic.All, Team.ReadBasic.All, ChannelMessage.Send.
Select Save button to save the integration configuration.
Select the Reset button to erase all the current field values, if required.
