Understanding the Tabs under Report Screen

The report screen in Motadata AIOps includes the tab selection and features the reports in the list as below:

Metric Tab

The Metric tab within the Reports section displays all the pre-configured and custom reports related to monitoring metrics. This tab allows users to create, view, and schedule reports that focus on various performance metrics such as CPU utilization, memory usage, network traffic, etc. The right side of the screen lists reports based on selected custom parameters, as well as out-of-the-box (OOTB) reports. Users can select the "New Category" option in the left-side panel to add a new report category, helping to organize custom reports under the desired section. You can also click the action icon and select the Copy As option to duplicate the default OOTB report. Clicking this option, you can customize the timeline from the top bar and adjust the Source filter to Group, Tag, and Monitor on the following screen.

Log Tab

In the Log tab, users can generate reports based on system logs. This tab provides the ability to track logs from various devices or applications for monitoring purposes. It offers a list of OOTB reports and allows users to customize reports by applying filters like log types, severity levels, or sources. As with the other tabs, the left panel offers the option to create a new report category using the "New Category" feature, facilitating the organization of log-related reports in the UI.

Flow Tab

The Flow tab is dedicated to generating reports based on network flow data. Here, users can analyze data flows, network traffic, and bandwidth usage across different network devices. This tab displays pre-configured flow analytics reports and allows for custom filtering and report generation based on traffic patterns or specific network devices. Users can also add new categories for custom reports to be organized under the Flow tab.

Trap Tab

The Trap tab displays reports related to SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) traps. These reports capture and analyze trap data from network devices, offering insights into the status of network devices and their performance. Users can select specific SNMP traps to include in their custom reports or use OOTB trap event reports. The "New Category" option is available here as well, helping users categorize their custom trap-related reports for better organization.

Audit Tab

The Audit tab is focused on creating, viewing, and scheduling audit reports, which track changes made to the system, such as configuration changes, user actions, or system modifications. This section is useful for compliance and monitoring purposes. The reports are customizable with fields like Module Type, Operation Type, Users, Status, and more. Similar to the other tabs, users can create a new report category to organize audit reports based on their needs.

NCCM Tab

The NCCM (Network Configuration and Change Management) tab allows users to generate reports related to network configurations, backups, and updates. It provides valuable insights for network administrators to monitor changes in configurations and ensure that the network devices are compliant with organizational standards. Users can also create custom reports under this tab and categorize them using the "New Category" feature.

Log Compliance Tab

The Log Compliance tab displays reports related to compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR. These reports help organizations maintain secure system activity logs and ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements. Users can view pre-configured reports or customize them based on specific compliance needs. The "New Category" option in the left panel enables users to categorize compliance-related reports for better organization.

Each of the report categories allows users to easily create, filter, and sort reports. The "New Category" option available in the left side vertical panel ensures that users can organize their reports as per their requirements. These reports can be scheduled for automated generation using toggle button under the Schedule column, and export options like PDF and CSV are available for each report type.
