Associate Rules to Benchmarks
Overview
Benchmarks in Motadata AIOps, is a collection of Rules. A Benchmark will always target a specific technology only, while the Rules a Benchmark cis comprised of might apply to multiple category of devices.
For instance, an organization has a repository of 2000 rules for Network Monitoring in Motadata AIOps. Out of those, 200 Rules are specifically tailored for Cisco IOS 15.X version devices. This curated collection of 200 odd rules, designed specifically for a single technology, constitues a Benchmark.
Essentially, a benchmark encompasses all the rules associated with and targeted towards a specific technolofy or system.
Motadata AIOps will provide a set of out-of-the-box (OOTB) benchmarks for common technologies. However, users also have the flexibility to create their own custom benchmarks to suit their specific needs and environment.
