📄️ Overview
Assets may need to be moved out of the premises for repair, replacement, or trial. To accurately track these movements in and out of the organization, the Asset Movement Tracking functionality has been implemented. In certain scenarios, asset movements also require approval from the respective department head and a valid Asset Gate Pass as proof to clear organizational security checks.
📄️ Send To Repair
This option enables you to create an Asset Movement Request to send a faulty asset for repair. Only faulty Hardware and Non-IT Assets can be sent for repairing. To send an asset for repair, follow the below steps:
📄️ Return From Repair
This option enables you to create a "Return from Repair" movement request to move the returned assets from repair to on premise. To move the returned asset from repair, follow the below steps:
📄️ Asset Transfer
This option enables you to create an Asset Movement Request for asset transfer. You can trasnfer assets from one Location/Department to another Location/Department, temporarily and permanently.
📄️ Asset Transfer Stages
Every asset transfer request is processed through a series of stages that requires some activity and decisions. In an organization, the asset movement is applicable on Hardware and Non-IT assets. With Asset movement, you can track the activities and the decisions at various stages of the transfer.
