📄️ Overview
Tasks are the activities that are done to fulfill different types of requests. Also, the tasks can be independent activities that are not related to any module. The task management section keeps a track of all the tasks for an organization and displays the dependency of it on other areas. Here, technicians can create, manage, and track the tasks. Also, they can view the tasks assigned to them or assign a task to peer technicians.
📄️ Task List View
The Tasks list view allows Technicians to track and manage all the tasks at one place. You can also view the service requests and project-related tasks with a "Not Started" status.
📄️ Creating a Task
You can create tasks manually as well as automatically using a Task Schedule.
📄️ Task Details
To view the task details, either click on the subject or the view icon from the Task List page. It displays all the details along with the tickets that are related to it.
📄️ Updating a Task
When you are working on a ticket, you can update its basic details, parameters, other info, and various activities/actions associated with it. There are many approaches to update the tasks:
📄️ Deleting a Task
Deleting is simply an activity of removing any task. A task can be deleted in two ways:
📄️ Comments
Comments section is available on the details popup in the second tab. Comments helps you to communicate with the audience. By commenting, you can highlight issues or ask questions. You can comment on any task whether it is Open, Closed, In progress or Resolved state.
📄️ Work Log
The Work Log tab allows the analysts to record the activities they performed (along with the time frame).
📄️ Check List
In the Check List tab, you can manage the checklists for tasks.
📄️ Audit Trail
The Audit Trail tab displays the activity logs related to the task. You can also download the logs in PDF, Excel, and CSV format.
