New Features

Asset Management

  • Added support to prompt technicians for a reason before taking RDP access, with end-user display and logging for enhanced transparency and compliance.

API Integration

  • The following V1 APIs related to Conversation are now supported in the Request, Service Request, and Change (Collaborate and Note) modules:
    • CREATE Conversation
    • PATCH Update a Conversation
    • DELETE Conversation
    • GET Conversation
    • Search Conversation

Miscellaneous

  • Motadata ServiceOps now supports integration with Google Chat Virtual Agent.

  • Administrators are now allowed to configure and enforce MIME type-based validation for attachments, supplementing the existing extension-based restrictions.

Enhancements

Asset Management

  • The Asset Movement Prefix can now be customized to align with organizational naming conventions.

  • Exclusion of Archived Hardware Assets/CIs during Discovery is now extended to the Import process, ensuring consistent handling during creation and updates.

API Integration

  • The following V1 APIs are supported for file attachment:

    • POST Upload V1 Attachment
    • GET an Attachment

Patch Management

  • Support for Windows Server OS 2025 has been added across the Discovery and Patch Management modules. Additionally, key components such as Poller, File Server, Integration Connector, and DMZ Server are now installable on this OS.

  • Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions 9.6 and 10 has been added to both the Discovery and Patch Management modules.

Miscellaneous

  • Technicians can now set personalized Time Filter and Auto Refresh Interval settings for each dashboard.

  • The bulk update functionality has been enhanced to support both Text Area and Rich Text Area fields across the Request, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, CMDB, and Project modules.

  • A new Login Method setting has been added to allow administrators to control authentication via Email, Logon Name, or Both.

  • ServiceOps is now compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9.6, starting from version 8.3.0.
