New Features
Request Management
- Support for integrating the LINE application with ServiceOps is added.
Custom SSO Configuration
- Custom SSO Configuration for Darwinbox integration is added.
Asset and CMDB Management
ServiceOps now enables credential-free asset discovery using Nmap, allowing network scans to detect devices and services without authentication.
Custom print templates can be created for the Asset Movement gate pass.
Users can automatically link assets and CIs to requests, service requests, and company-wise requests. To do so, the following fields are added to the Support Portal Settings:
- Asset:
- Allow Requester to link asset of other Requester: If enabled requesters can link assets automatically for another requester.
- Auto-Link Requester Assets: The asset can be automatically linked to the logged-in Requester if enabled. If multiple assets are linked, one can also delete the required one.
- CMDB:
- Allow request to link CI of other Requester: If enabled, requesters can link CIs automatically for another requester.
- Auto-Link Requester CI: CI can be automatically linked to the logged-in requester if enabled. If multiple CIs are linked, one can also delete the required one.
- Asset:
Users can define the scope of Configuration Items (CI) within the Technician module. Also, MSP functionality is supported in the CMDB module.
Enhancements
Request Management
Custom field data can be purged automatically according to the configured rules. It is supported for Request, Problem, Change, Release, Asset, and Project modules.
The following fields are added to the Request section of the Support Portal Settings:
- Allow Requester to Access Solution: It allows the Requesters to view solutions to their requests directly within the Support Portal, enhancing transparency and user experience.
- Allow Requester to View Request Due By: It allows the Requesters to view the ‘Due By’ time of their requests directly within the Support Portal.
While creating a Service Request, the Additional Information section is renamed Request Information.
Asset and CMDB Management
Users can now view the Last Reboot Time in the Computer Properties of Asset and CI. The field is also added to the following sections:
- Search Filter
- Column Selection
- Export
- Download
- Import
- Conditions of Reports (Tabular and Summary), KPIs, Widgets
Users can now use the Asset Details, Transfer Approval Details, and Return Approval Details placeholders in Asset Movement, Event Notifications, Workflow App Actions (WhatsApp and Teams), Email actions, and Asset Movement Print Template.
Users can now configure a Proxy Server and Poller for Public Cloud Discovery.
ServiceOps application is now compatible with RHEL OS v9.4 and Ubuntu OS v24.
Users can perform asset discovery and patch management for Ubuntu OS v24.04 LTS.
Users can now directly view the Last Logged In User details on the Hardware Asset and CI list pages. This field is available in the Column Selection and Search Filter.
– Users can now view only the relevant assets where the software is installed when allocating the software license.
– Users can now view only the relevant agents where the software is installed when configuring the software meter.
– Users can download the asset geolocation history in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats based on the selected timeframe.
– Users can now export and download the software license details in Excel and CSV formats. The options are available on the Software Licenses list page.
– A new Add Barcode action has been introduced to the Asset Workflow (covering Hardware, Software, and Non-IT assets). This feature automatically generates a barcode whenever a specified event occurs or a pre-defined condition is met.
Purchase Management
- The maximum length of the Purchase Order prefix has been increased from 5 to 24 characters.
Dashboards and Reports
A new Agent module has been added to the Reports section, enabling users to create agent-based reports. With this feature, users can generate detailed reports for the following agent types:
- Discovery Agent
- Mobile Agent
- End Points Scope Agent
Users can view the User Data fields like Used By (Contact Number, Location, Department, and Manager) in the tabular and summary report of Asset and CMDB modules.
A new Last N Hours option has been added to the Time Filter field in the Create or Edit Schedule popup. This allows users to schedule reports based on a specified time range.
Task Management
- Users can now view service requests and project-related tasks with a Not Started status on the My Tasks list page.
Miscellaneous
Users can now select the status type in Show Dialog and Required Note custom rules.
Users now have streamlined control over IP range locations, with new support for importing, exporting, downloading, and applying search filters.
Users can now use the Attachment placeholder for the system and custom attachment field throughout the application.
Users can now use the Approval Details placeholder in the Event Notifications, Workflow, Scenario, and Print Template sections of the following modules:
