Symptoms

  • Email sync fails because ServiceOps can't locate the configured inbox folder on the mail server.

Root Cause

  • The inbox folder on the configured mailbox doesn't exist or isn't accessible.
  • The folder may have been renamed or deleted on the mail server.

Resolution

  1. Log into the mailbox directly and verify the inbox folder exists and is accessible.
  2. If the folder was renamed or deleted, restore it or ask your IT team to recreate it.
