Symptoms
- The connection to the mail server takes longer than expected, then fails.
- Email sync or sending is delayed or intermittently fails.
Root Cause
- The mail server is temporarily slow or overloaded.
- There's a network issue between ServiceOps and the mail server.
Resolution
- No immediate action is required. ServiceOps retries automatically on the next polling cycle.
- If this error persists, ask your IT or network team to check the connection between ServiceOps and the mail server.
