Error Message	The mail server is temporarily limiting requests. ServiceOps will retry again automatically.

Affects	Incoming and Outgoing Email Servers

Symptoms

• Requests to the mail server are temporarily throttled or paused.
• Email sync or sending slows down or pauses during periods of high activity.

Root Cause

• The mail server is receiving too many requests at once and has temporarily paused further requests.
• This commonly happens during periods of high activity with any mail server.

Resolution

1. No action is needed. ServiceOps retries automatically once the mail server is ready to accept requests again.
2. If this error recurs over a long period, contact your mail provider to check whether any request limits apply to your account.
