Alert Details
The Alert Details page gives you the full picture of a specific alert: what triggered it, which device is affected, when it started, and its current status. This is the information on-call engineers need to assess impact and begin a response.
Opening Alert Details
To view the details of an alert:
Tap on any alert card from the Alert List. The Alert Details page appears.
What the Alert Details Page Shows
The details page is divided into the following sections:
Alert Summary
Displayed at the top of the page, the summary gives you the most critical information at a glance:

|---|---|
| Alert Name | The name of the alert rule that was triggered. |
| Severity | The severity level (Critical, High, Medium, or Low) with colour coding. |
| Status | Current state of the alert: Active, Acknowledged, or Resolved. |
| Triggered At | The exact date and time the alert was first triggered. |
| Duration | How long the alert has been in its current state. |
Source Device
This section shows details about the device or resource that triggered the alert:

| Device Name | The hostname of the affected device. |
| IP Address | The IP address of the affected device. |
| Device Type | The type of device: Server, Network Device, Application, etc. |
| Location | The physical or logical location of the device as configured in ObserveOps. |
Alert Condition
This section describes what condition caused the alert to trigger:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Metric | The monitored metric that crossed the threshold. For example: CPU Utilization, Disk Usage, Ping Response Time. |
| Threshold | The threshold value configured in the alert rule. |
| Current Value | The value of the metric at the time the alert was triggered. |
| Alert Rule | The name of the rule in ObserveOps that defines the condition. |
Timeline
The Timeline section shows a chronological history of the alert's state changes:
- When the alert was first triggered.
- When it was acknowledged (if applicable).
- Any state changes since it was triggered.
The Alert Details page is read-only. You can view all information about the alert but cannot acknowledge, assign, or close alerts from the mobile app in this version. Alert management actions are performed from the ObserveOps web platform.
Navigating Back to the Alert List
Tap the Back arrow at the top-left of the screen to return to the Alert List.
