Contract Custom Fields
Streamline contract management by customizing forms to efficiently capture and categorize contract-related information.
This document guides administrators and consultants through the process of customizing contract forms using custom fields. It explains how to modify default templates, add new custom fields, and configure existing fields to ensure that all necessary and structured information is collected for effective contract tracking, management, and automation settings.
Navigating to Contract Custom Fields
To view Contract Custom Fields, navigate to Admin > Contract Management > Contract Custom Fields. The following page appears.

Understanding Field Types
- Default Fields: These are the primary, built-in fields that come with the initial installation of the system. Default fields are essential for core contract management processes. Their names cannot be changed, and they cannot be deleted.
- Custom Fields: These are additional fields that can be added to the contract form from the Field palette. Custom fields provide flexibility to meet specific organizational needs. They can be renamed, modified, and deleted as required.
Customizing the Contract Form
When managing fields on the contract form canvas, various customization options are available to help you arrange and configure fields effectively. These options include:
- Field Palette: Drag and drop fields from the palette to add them to the form.
- Re-order: Drag and drop custom fields to change their order in the form.
- Expand/Collapse: Expand or collapse fields to display one or two fields per row. When collapsed, the field width is reduced by half.
- Duplicate: Create a copy of an existing custom field.
- Edit: Edit fields, mark them as required, or change their properties.
- Remove: Delete custom fields.
Adding Custom Fields
The Field Palette provides a variety of custom field types that you can add to your contract form. To add a new field, drag and drop the desired field type from the palette onto the form.
