Audit Trail

Audit Trail displays all the actions that you and other technicians have performed on the ticket. This tab is common at all places in the system. When you are on the details page of any ticket, it displays the concerned activity logs only. Also, you can download the entries in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats. Further, you can password-protect the PDF and Excel files.

You can also view the detailed tracking of changes made to configurable fields within the system. It records both the previous and updated values whenever a field is modified, ensuring greater visibility and accountability.

The following field types are supported:

  • Text input fields (e.g., Subject)
  • Text area fields (e.g., RCA, Notes)
  • Rich text fields (e.g., Description, Resolution)
  • Checkbox and radio buttons
  • Multi-select dropdown fields

Change Format

All modifications are displayed in a standardized format. For example:

"Adam has changed Priority from Low to High."

For text area and rich text fields, a View Changes link is provided. Clicking the link displays the Previous Value and the New Value directly below it for quick comparison.
