Adding Watchers

In a request, it is likely that multiple stakeholders want to keep a watch so that necessary actions are taken promptly. With the Watch feature, one can subscribe to a specific request and receive notifications that go to the requestor.

Watchers of a request are the default contact people for notifications. Their names are added by default whenever a technician creates a notification.

In the system you can assign other people as well as yourself as watchers.

Assigning others as Watchers

To assign others as watchers,

  1. Tap the More options and select Add Watcher.

  1. The list of technicians and technician groups appears.

Select technicians as watchers

  1. Tap the eye icon next to the technicians or technician groups whom you want to assign as watchers. A confirmation message appears and the color of the eye turns dark (active).

  2. Similarly, you can tap the eye icon again to remove the selected technician or group from the watchers list. On doing so, the color of the eye icon turns grey (inactive).
