How to retain Cisco CBQoS and NBAR for a longer period

You can change the data retention period for Cisco Class-Based Quality of Service (CBQoS) and Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR) from the settings. This allows you to retain data for a specified duration, enhancing your data management capabilities.

  1. Go to Settings > MOTADATA_NETFLOW > Storage Settings.
  2. Click on NBAR / CBQoS.
  3. Change the "Retain data" option as required.

Data retention can be set from 1 day up to a year for both NBAR and CBQoS.

note

You will require free disk space of 360 MB to store NBAR data and 180 MB for CBQoS data for a year per interface.

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select Explorer to view the active flow data.
