SonicWall (NetFlow v5/v9) Configuration

This document outlines the steps to configure SonicWall for NetFlow v5, v9, and IPFIX flow export with ObserveOps Flow Explorer.

Configuration Steps

Log in to the SonicWall device console.

Navigate to Log > Flow Reporting.

Enter the following parameters:

• Flow Collector IP: {MOTADATA_NETFLOW_SERVER_IP}
• Flow Collector Port: 2055
• Flow Format: Select NetFlow v5, v9, or IPFIX as supported by your firmware.

Save the settings to start flow export.

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select Explorer to view the active flow data.
