Aruba (IPFIX) Configuration

This document outlines the steps for configuring Aruba (IPFIX) on the supported WLC-7210 model. Follow the below steps to configure Aruba (IPFIX).

Configuration Steps

Enter the IPFIX export profile mode:

ip-flow-export-profile

Enable the profile:

enable

Set the wireless export feature:

wireless-export

Specify the collector IP address:

collector-ip {MOTADATA_NETFLOW_SERVER_IP}

Set the transport protocol:

transport-protocol udp

Specify the listening port for the MOTADATA_NETFLOW server:

port 2055

Set the flow cache size:

flow-cache-size 1000

Configure the upload intervals:

upload-all-interval 60
upload-inactive-interval 15
upload-template-interval 60

Define the observation domain:

observation-domain

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select the Event Source(s) and the associated Interface(s) from the drop-downs to view the active flow data.
