Dell(sFlow) Configuration

This document outlines the commands required to enable sFlow export on Dell devices, including specific configurations for interfaces.

Set the sFlow destination and port with the following commands:

sflow 1 destination MFE timeout 4294967295
sflow 1 destination {MOTADATA_NETFLOW_SERVER_IP} port {MOTADATA_NETFLOW_SERVER_LISTENER_PORT}

Enter global configuration mode on the router or MSFC.

For each interface on which you want to enable flow, and apply the following commands:

sflow 1 sampling {INTERFACE_NAME} 256
sflow 1 polling {INTERFACE_NAME} 60

The above commands are also applicable for Dell N1524.

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select the Event Source(s) and the associated Interface(s) from the drop-downs to view the active flow data.
