Dell Switch Ex4200 (sFlow) Configuration

This document outlines the steps to configure sFlow on the Dell Switch Ex4200. Follow the steps to set up the sFlow collector and enable flow on desired interfaces.

Enter the sFlow configuration mode:

edit protocols sflow

Set the collector IP address:

set collector {MOTADATA_NETFLOW_SERVER_IP}

Set the collector UDP port:

set collector udp-port 2055

Set the polling interval:

set polling-interval 60

Set the sample rate:

set sample-rate 1000

Enter global configuration mode on the router or MSFC, and apply the following commands for each interface on which you want to enable flow:

set interfaces {INTERFACE_NAME}

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select the Event Source(s) and the associated Interface(s) from the drop-downs to view the active flow data.
