Mac RDP Agent Installation

Describes the installation steps for Motadata Mac OS RDP Agent.

Prerequisites​

  • The user must have root permissions
  • Valid SSL Certificate is required

Installation Steps​

  1. Download the latest Mac agent file from the given link.

  2. Open terminal and change directory to where the agent file is downloaded.

  3. Grant the execution permission using the below command:

    chmod 777 MotadataRDPWrapper_Mac_M1_v84

  1. Execute the agent file with root user using the below command:

    ./MotadataRDPWrapper_Mac_M1_v84

  1. Enter the ServiceOps Server URL (IP address).

  1. Enter the Agent Activation Code.

  1. The agent will be installed successfully.

note

The MotadataRemote file will be available in the machine on the /opt/Motadata/RDP_Server/rdpapp path.
