Configuring Cisco Nexus Switch

This document provides instructions for configuring sFlow on Cisco Nexus switches. Follow the steps to enable sFlow export from your device.

  1. Enter configuration mode on your switch.
config terminal
  1. Execute the following commands:
feature sflow
sflow sampling-rate 4096
sflow max-sampled-size 256
sflow counter-poll-interval 60
sflow collector-ip {MOTADATA_SERVER_IP}
sflow collector-port 2055
sflow agent-ip {Any L3 interface IP}
sflow data-source interface {interface name}  // repeat this for each interface on the device.

After completing the configuration, navigate to Menu > Flow Explorer and select Explorer to view the active flow data.
