Automatic Patch Test List

The Automatic Patch Test List View allows to track and manage all the automatic patch tests at one place. In the List View, you get to see all the available automatic patches in the system.

Columns Visible

Column NameDescription
IDDisplays the ID of Automatic Patch.
NameDisplays the name of the Automatic Patch searched while scanning.
Total TestsDisplays the number of tests performed.
Pending TestsDisplays the number of pending tests.
Completed TestsDisplays the number of completed tests.
Last Execution TimeDisplays the time of last execution of the automatic patch testing.
Next Execution TimeDisplays the upcoming time of execution of the automatic patch testing.
EnableYou can enable or disable the automatic patch testing from here.
ActionsYou can edit, delete, and view the created automatic patch test.

Edit Automatic Patch Test

  1. Click the Edit icon in the Actions column and a popup appears as shown below.
  2. Make the required changes.
  3. Click Update.

View Automatic Patch Test

Click to view the details of a specific Automatic Patch from the list view. The view page has two tabs: Patch Deployment and Analytics.

Patch Deployment

This tab displays the patch deployment details. You can search for specific deployments and filter by their status (all, pending, and completed).

Column NameDescription
IDDisplays the unique identifier of the patch deployment. You can also click on the ID to view the details of the patch deployment in a new tab.
NameDisplays the name of the patch deployment.
StatusDisplays the current status of the patch deployment.
Test StatusDisplays the status of the patch test associated with the deployment.
Created DateDisplays the date and time when the patch deployment was created.
Observation Start TimeDisplays the start time of the observation.
Remaining Approval TimeDisplays the time remaining for the approval.
ActionsProvides options to mark the deployment as failed manually once all the patches are installed.

Viewing Automatic Patch Tests

Analytics

This tab displays the analytical summary of the automatic patch test, including the following sections and a filter to view data based on different time ranges:

  • Filter Options: You can filter the displayed data by selecting a time range from the dropdown menu, including:
    • Today
    • Last 7 Days
    • Last 15 Days
    • Last 30 Days
    • This Week
    • This Month
  • Patches Tested: Displays the total number of patches tested.
  • Successfully Tested: Displays the number of patches successfully tested.
  • Failed Tests: Displays the number of failed patch tests.
  • In Progress Tests: Displays the number of patch tests currently in progress.
  • Auto Approved: Displays the percentage of automatically approved patches.
  • Active Tests: Displays the number of active patch tests.

Viewing Automatic Patch Tests

It also includes detailed sections for:

  • Automatic Patch Test Status: Displays the status of the automatic patch tests in a donut chart.
    • Statuses: Draft, In Progress, Expired, Partial Completed, Ready to Deploy, Completed, Cancelled.
  • Patch Test Severity Distribution: Displays the distribution of patch test severity in a donut chart, showing the number of patches by their severity level.
    • Severities: Critical, Low, Important, Moderate, Unspecified.
  • Patch Test Results Over Time: Displays the trend of patch test results over time in a bar chart, categorized by status.
    • Results: Success, Fail, In Progress, Other.
