What is Change Management

What is the difference between Change Management and Incident Management?
A: Change Management focuses on handling planned changes to IT services and infrastructure, while Incident Management deals with restoring normal service operations after unplanned disruptions or incidents. Change Management is proactive, while Incident Management is reactive.
In which stages can I edit the Change Schedule?
A: You can edit the Change Schedule in the Submitted and Planning stages only.
In which stages I can edit the Planning details?
A: You can edit the Planning details in the Submitted, Planning, and Closed stages.
Which fields I cannot update in the Closed stage?
A: In the Closed stage except for the Planning section (i.e. Impact, Rollout plan, Backout Plan) you cannot edit or modify anything.
Can I add stage wise tasks to the change?
A: No.

What is the difference between changing status using a workflow and a transition model?
A: Workflows allow status changes within the same stage of a Change Request, whereas the Transition Model enables status transitions across different stages of the Change Request process.
