NCCM Reports in ObserveOps

The NCCM Report gives you visibility into the configuration compliance status of your network devices. Use it to identify devices whose running configurations deviate from approved baselines, track configuration changes over time, and generate audit-ready summaries for your network infrastructure.

Create an NCCM Report

Go to Menu. Select Reports. Select Create Custom Report. Select NCCM Report.

Configure the report using the fields below:

Report NameA unique name to identify this report.
Device GroupSelect one or more device groups to limit the report scope to specific parts of your network. Leave blank to include all NCCM-managed devices.
DevicesSelect specific devices to include. If left blank, all devices in the selected groups are included.
Compliance PolicySelect the compliance policy to evaluate devices against. ObserveOps checks each device's running configuration against the rules in the selected policy.
Time RangeThe period for which configuration data is reported. Select a preset range or define a custom start and end date.
Result By

Choose how the report groups results:

- Device: Groups results by individual network device.

- Policy Rule: Groups results by compliance rule, showing which rule each device passed or failed.

Select Generate Report to run the report immediately. Select Schedule Report to set a recurring schedule and delivery recipients.

What the Report Shows

The NCCM Report output includes:

ColumnWhat It Shows
Device NameThe name of the network device as it appears in ObserveOps.
Device IPThe IP address of the device.
Compliance StatusWhether the device passed or failed the selected compliance policy.
ViolationsThe number of policy rules the device failed.
Last Config ChangeThe timestamp of the most recent configuration change detected by ObserveOps.
Policy RuleThe specific rule that was evaluated (visible when you select Result By: Policy Rule).

Export and Schedule

Select Export to download the report as a CSV or PDF file. To send the report automatically on a schedule, select Schedule Report, set the frequency and time, and enter the recipient email addresses.
