System Settings Overview

The System Settings module in Motadata ObserveOps groups the platform-wide configuration screens that administrators use to run and maintain the deployment. From here you configure mail, proxy, SMS, rebranding, mappings, collectors, storage, retention, tags, two-factor authentication, DNS, OAuth, SSH security, backup and restore, and notifications.

Common Toolbar on List Screens

Every list screen inside System Settings (for example, Application Mapping, Protocol Mapping, MAC Address List, Collector Settings, Storage Profile, Rule-Based Tags, DNS Server Profile, SSH Security Settings, Notification, and others) provides a common toolbar to narrow down and export the visible records.

OptionDescription
FilterOpens a filter panel to narrow down records by the key attributes of that screen. Applied filters appear as chips above the grid and complement the existing search bar.
Export As PDFDownloads the current list view as a PDF file for audit and offline review.
Export As CSVDownloads the current list view as a CSV file for further analysis.

The Filter panel exposes the attributes that make sense for each screen, so administrators can segment large configuration datasets before acting on them.

Getting Around

Use the left navigation inside Settings to jump between System Settings screens. Each screen documents its own fields and behaviour in the pages linked from this section.
