User Settings

Overview

The User Settings screen in Motadata ObserveOps empowers administrators to manage user accounts, roles, and password policies efficiently. This comprehensive module provides the necessary tools to create users, define roles with specific permissions, and configure password policies to ensure a secure environment. Additionally, it offers the flexibility to configure LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) integration for seamless user authentication and authorization.

With the User Settings module, administrators can streamline user management processes, establish appropriate access controls, and enhance overall security within the system. Filter and Export Options in User Settings Lists

All list screens under User Settings, including Users, User Profiles, User Groups, Roles, Personal Tokens, and LDAP Server Settings, provide a common toolbar to narrow down and export the visible records.

FilterOpens a filter panel to narrow down records by key attributes such as Name, Status, Role, Group, or Authentication Source. This complements the existing search bar and helps quickly segment large user, role, profile, token, and LDAP data.
Export as PDFDownloads the current list view as a PDF file for audit and offline review.
Export as CSVDownloads the current list view as a CSV file for further analysis.
