Release Version 7.7.902
Release Date: May 29, 2024
What’s New?
Added Support of SMS Alerts for Log Alerts
Users can now send log alerts via SMS based on specific conditions. A new parameter has been added to the system-conf.yml file. If the system fails to send an SMS after a certain number of attempts, the sms-circuit-breaker parameter is activated, triggering a job to resend the SMS. The job will continue until the SMS is successfully sent, at which point a notification will be displayed on the screen.
Disk Read/Write GUI Notification
The disk read/write notification will now disappear automatically after 5 seconds. Thus, the user does not need to close it manually every time the popup appears.
Automate Thread Dumps and Log Collection with Scheduled Health Statistics Export
Users can now schedule the export of health statistics. The export can be set to occur daily or every 2 hours.
Once exported, a zip file containing log files, executable thread dumps, and server health statistics will be created in the second-level Motadata folder.
Notes
- The log folder must remain under 1 GB.
- The scheduler will not run if the Motadata partition's disk usage exceeds 70%.
- The log file copy command has a 1-minute timeout. If it exceeds this time, not all log files may be copied.
- There is a loophole where the master can have more than six zip files for any RPE, exceeding the limit.
- After the first service restart, health statistics may not be generated immediately due to a delay in the health inspection job, potentially delaying the Motadata health statistics CSV file.
NCM Report Scheduler Enhancement
The user can now generate an NCM report containing a list of failed and successful devices that completed a backup using NCM.
Enhanced Support for Terminal Access to NCM Devices on the RPE Server
The user can now connect the Terminal server of the NCM devices located in the RPE server.
Enhanced Log and Flow Monitoring
The log and flow monitoring process has been improved by implementing a High Water Mark (HWM) mechanism and addressing various issues.
Parser for DDoS Server Logs
The user can now parse the DDoS server logs using the DDoS Logs Parser in the Universal Log Parser.
Bug Fixes
- The tickets can now be closed automatically using the plugin "trouble-ticket-action".
- The performance of the Alert Stream screen has been improved, eliminating the loading delays.
