What’s New?

Improvements in Topology

Below is the list of changes added in Topology:

  1. The number of alerts will be visible on nodes
  2. All alerts will be displayed below the topology
  3. The logo will also be seen on the topology page
  4. Link details (CRC) are now added
  5. Details such as Serial No., firmware version are added on the hover

Monitoring Log and Flow with RPE

Added support to monitor Log and flow with RPE, now we can send log/flow on RPE servers and monitor them on GUI


Juniper RPM plugin

A new plugin Juniper RPM ICMP Ping Timestamp is added with version 1.0.


Below are the changes which are added for WAN topology:

  1. Provided support for the WAN edge creation between two devices.
  2. Provided support to combine topology using seed IPs added in a single region and create the WAN edges if possible between two devices.
  3. For us, WAN edge is a WAN device created in NMS using source IP and Destination IP.
  4. Creation of a WAN link based on the source IP which we have selected while creating the WAN device discovery profile.
  5. The directional edge between the source and destination node.
  6. If, the user adds the actual device IP as the destination IP then, will map it with monitors which are provisioned and will create a single directed edge between the source and destination.

Added support of RPE accessible monitors for topology

Support for creating topology in RPE-accessible monitors is added now. For this, the plugins Network Builder is updated to version 1.7 and Topology Builder to version 6.7.


Create a Topology of only accessible department monitors

Previously the topology creation was allowing all the monitors irrespective of any departments. Now, only accessible department monitors can be added to the topology.


Ping Utility added for RPE

Support for RPE is also added in Ping Utility now.


Payload for API

Previously only the standard fields were sent as payload, but now the custom fields will also be sent as payload if added. For this, the plugin Webhook alert is updated to version 1.1.


Firmware version and Interface CRC details

Now, the firmware version and Interface CRC details will be fetched for all the below-mentioned plugins, and for this, its plugin version is updated as below:

Improvement in WAN Topology UI

  • UI enhancements are done for WAN Topology UI
  • Changes are made in performance for getting exact interface details

The topology will not be shown in the WAN monitor’s topology:

  • WAN devices are displayed in unconnected nodes and link/unlink devices.
  • We can manually link WAN devices, but when we run the topology builder job, the WAN devices are not displayed.

v3 support added in IPSLA ICMP Echo plugin

Support of v3 is added in the IPSLA ICMP Echo plugin and also the addition of source address selection is added at the time of discovery. Also, from now based on interface selection on UI, the source address will be allocated to ICMP Echo in the first poll. For this, the plugin IPSLA ICMP Echo is updated to version 1.1.


v3 support added in IPSLA ICMP Jitter plugin

Support of v3 is added in the IPSLA ICMP Jitter plugin and also the addition of source address selection is added at the time of discovery. Also, from now based on interface selection from UI, the source address will be allocated to ICMP Jitter in the first poll. For this, the plugin IPSLA ICMP Jitter is updated to version 1.1.

Bug Fixes

  • There was an issue where the removed BGP links in the router were still visible on UI, which is resolved now. For this the plugin, SNMP is updated to version 8.9
