3.4. Change Custom RulesΒΆ

Custom rules allow an admin to make certain fields compulsory in a particular Change stage. Please refer Change Workflow. Refer Administration Manual to know how to set the rules.

Note

Requires admin rights to set change custom rules.

  • Submission:

    1. Having a Change Manager

    2. Having an assigned Technician.

    3. Adding a Location to the Change.

  • Planning:

    1. Having schedule and rollout plan.

    2. Setting the Impact of the Change.

    3. Having an assigned Technician.

    4. Having a Back-out plan.

    5. Having a Rollout plan.

  • Implementation:

    1. Having a Change implementer.

    2. Having all tasks closed.

    3. Having an assigned Technician

  • Review:

    1. Having a Change reviewer.

    2. Having an assigned Technician

Admin can make adding a note to a Change a compulsory thing before doing the following activities:

  • Reopen a change.

  • Change request rejected in submission stage.

  • Change request cancelled in planning stage.

  • Change request cancelled in implementation stage.

  • Change request failed to pass review stage.

  • Change request completed the review stage.

  • Change Category of a change.

  • Change Location of a change.

  • Change Department of a change.

  • Change assigned Technician of a change.

  • Set a new priority.

  • Edit a custom field.
