Log are not coming / Logs not showing while creating Dashboards not showing

Check by mention steps.

  • Check Motadata server’s health screen.

  • Check if logs are recieving in Log/Sec

  • If here logs are not showing in Logs/Sec section.

  • Now check from motadata servers putty console by using tcpdump command.:

    #tcpdump -i eth0 src

  • Check motadata log-engine is enabled from motadata server.

  • Check 5142 is in listening state or not.

    root@localhost:~# netstat -ntpul | grep 5142
tcp6 0 0 :::5142 :::* LISTEN 12769/motadata

  • Check if logs are coming on tcpdump then now move to motadata servers health screen and check in Message Queue Statistics.

  • Check here for log messages log queue fond, then check for system’s given resource (i.e: RAM, CPU, Disk)
