Rollback/Fail over Steps¶

Motadata Master Server¶

Stop the Motadata service.
[For physical machine only] Restore the backup of /motadata/motadata folder as taken in Backup installation Steps.:
```
cp -r /home/backup/motadata/ ../../../../motadata/motadata
```
[For virtual machine only] Revert the snapshot of virtual machine as taken in Backup Installation Steps.
Start Motadata service.:
```
service motadata start
```

Stop the motadata service.
Restore the backup of lib from the backup folder:
```
cp /home/backup ../../motadata
```
Restore the backup of workers from the backup folder e.g. /opt/workers/.
Start the motadata service.
